The staff were wonderful, kind, courteous, and friendly. Particularly, the breakfast staff that served us every morning and the front desk staff that were so helpful, always smiling, and offered to assist us with booking a rental car and providing beach towels. Staff were always easy to contact via phone or at the front desk. We appreciated the water and small snacks that were available in the lobby, especially for my young child. We really enjoyed the breakfast in the morning which had a wide variety of options at the self-serve buffet and from the menu, as well. We loved the modern design and the cleanliness of the hotel and restaurant. We also appreciated the aspects of sustainability, such as motion sensor lights to conserve energy and the option to not have the towels and linens replaced daily. Also, free spacious underground parking.

Oh my god. The restaurant and staff are a bunch of beauties. You will go to bed dreaming of the breakfasts on site. The location is fantastic at the waterfront near Forte Sao Sebastioao and the marina. Grocery shops are nearby as well as several food trucks for a quick bite. The beds are extremely comfortable and the wifi is zippy quick. The rooms are equipped with a balcony to enjoy some private outdoor space. Rates are rated per duration of your stay: digital nomad rate is quite good considering the facilities. We didn't have a chance to use it, but the gym was well equipped and the upstairs lounge looked like the perfect spot to sack out and enjoy an East facing city view. The housekeeping staff is very sweet and we appreciated the attention to detail!

A modern, clean complex, poor weather meant we made this last minute booking for an overnight layover in Tecerra. To say the value compared to facilities was more than expected is an understatement. It was a mini studio apartment not a room. It had a good view over the castle, breakfast included, comfortable furniture. All very modern and clean. Love the Rituals toiletries too. The staff were so helpful and accommodating throughought. We ate in the restaurant (the hurricane dissuaded us from heading outside) where we had a lovely evening meal and breakfast in the morning. The service during dining was also sensational and a very high standard of food for the Azores.

This hotel was one of the nicest, if not the nicest, hotels I have stayed at in Terceira. I have been traveling to Terceira for years and have never stayed in a hotel like The Shipyard. It is brand new and everything inside and outside was done tastefully and modern. If you are not familiar with Terceira, it is incredibly humid. It is very common to smell or see mold when entering buildings or houses. This hotel is very well cared for, there were no signs of mold and our apartments were kept very clean the entire stay. The breakfast was lovely, the best pastel de natas I've had from Terceira.

Amazing service, location and rooms. Exceeded our expectations, given the other 4 star hotels in the other islands. A special mention to Ruben at the front desk and Inĕs of the breakfast staff. The first welcomed us warmly and quickly gave us all the information, the second made our breakfasts great, making us start the morning with a big and friendly smile. Definitely recommend to any Açores traveler. Just one suggestion: add something under the bathroom sink to hide the pipes and set one's toiletries.
